Smart Spatial’s Operational Digital Twin Demo Showcased by PNY at Hannover Messe 2025

Smart Spatial’s AI-powered Digital Twin demo was showcased by PNY at Hannover Messe 2025, highlighting industrial innovation and automation.

We’re excited to share that our Operational Digital Twin, originally developed for GTC 2025 in partnership with PNY and Automation, was featured at HANNOVER MESSE 2025—one of the world’s premier trade shows for industrial technology.

Our work took center stage at the PNY booth, alongside some of the most forward-thinking companies in the industry including NVIDIA, Data Monsters, and others. A special thanks to the team at PNY Technologies for continuing to champion our shared vision for the future of AI-powered infrastructure.

Hannover Messe 2025: Tech, Trade, and Global Dialog

This year’s Hannover Messe was more than just a trade show—it embodied a powerful commitment to the future of industry, combining:

  • A technology showcase of cutting-edge innovation
  • A business trade fair with 4,000 exhibiting companies
  • A global economic and political platform, strengthening partnerships in a time of uncertainty

With over 127,000 visitors from 150 countries, the event emphasized AI, automation, digitalization, and electrification as core levers driving industrial efficiency. Strong signals also came from partner country Canada, promoting transatlantic cooperation and innovation. According to Dr. Jochen Köckler, CEO of Deutsche Messe:

“Hannover Messe 2025 was a powerful commitment to the future viability of industry in Germany and Europe, in close cooperation with its international partners... You can see how digitalization and AI are making industrial progress possible.”

About the Demo: A Digital Twin That Thinks, Speaks, and Simulates

Co-developed with Automation, a Belgian engineering powerhouse specializing in datacenter facilities, this demo is a high-fidelity Operational Digital Twin of a next-generation data center—designed for hands-on interaction at GTC and beyond.

Visitors were invited to step into a living 3D simulation of a modular AI and HPC data center, featuring:

  • Voice-Controlled AI Avatar Navigation
Users explored complex environments like server halls, chillers, and power systems using natural voice commands.
E.g., “Show me the NVIDIA server with DGX” or “Take me inside”.

  • Real-Time & Simulated Insights
Dashboards displayed live operational metrics for power, cooling, and infrastructure health, while synthetic data models simulated future performance scenarios.
  • X-Ray Equipment Visualization & Diagnostics
Interactive 3D callouts and deep inspection tools enabled an intuitive view into critical systems like cooling units, CDUs, UPS, and generators.

  • Context-Aware Monitoring
The digital twin wasn’t just visually accurate—it understood where users were and what systems they interacted with, offering rich diagnostic insights on demand.

From Blackwell-ready GB200 racks in the server hall to advanced DLC and air cooling units, the digital twin offered a complete tour of a future-ready AI infrastructure.

A Global Stage for Innovation

To have our work featured at Hannover Messe, among the most innovative industrial technologies from around the world, is a proud milestone. We’re honored that our solutions continue to resonate across borders and industries.

A huge thank you to PNY Technologies and our partners for the opportunity to bring this vision to life.
